Citizens denounce the lamentable state of the RM-C2 that links Fuente Librilla with La Puebla de Mula (20/05/2018)

● The training considers it inadmissible that just 16 months after the last intervention, the road shows such notable defects that even pose a risk to the safety of users

● "There was a tender for 1.4 million and an award for 700,000 euros that resulted in a fudge, the one that buys cheap pays twice", laments local orange spokeswoman, Toi Salcedo

Ciudadanos has denounced the "unfortunate state" that presents the RM-C2 highway, which links Fuente Librilla with La Puebla de Mula.

"It is inadmissible that just 16 months after the completion of the works of reform of this road, the road present and serious damage that pose a safety risk to drivers who travel on this road," lamented the local spokesman, Toi Salcedo.

The layout, as reported by Cs, is already dotted with sinkholes that force to abruptly slow down and even to invade the opposite lane to avoid damage to vehicles.

Salcedo already transmitted to the Minister of Public Works at the inauguration of this road, in January 2017, after the works his concern about the evident lack of quality of the asphalt layer and other gaps in the road: "All this is not just fruit of a reckless award with a cut of 50% on the bid price, which was 1.4 million euros, "the orange spokeswoman adds:" In the end, we have a construction site and will have to put money back on the road : the one that buys cheap pays twice, and we hope that the only thing that we have to regret is having to spend money, "said Salcedo, who has already announced that" we will have to ask for political responsibility for this fudge ".
