The PSOE will continue fighting for the La Princesa trousseau of the La Almoloya site to remain in the Mula Museum (31/01/2019)

The socialist deputy spokesperson Isabel Casalduero has shown the unconditional support of the Socialist Parliamentary Group so that the trousseau found in tomb 38 of the La Almoloya site remains in Mula and is not transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Murcia.

"We will continue to fight for the regional government to comply with the municipality of Mula and do justice to the scientific and patrimonial relevance of these archaeological remains," he said.

Casalduero said that it is the most important funeral trousseau found in the peninsula "and must remain in the Muleño museum for reasons of geographical proximity to the site and because all conditions of custody, conservation and security are given."

The socialist parliamentarian recalled that the Socialist City Council that governs Juan Jesus Moreno has met an investment of more than 115,000 euros for the municipality to exhibit it in its museum.

"It is fair that the muleños and muleñas have the power to house their cultural heritage because they meet all the conditions and it is also part of their history".

Isabel Casalduero transferred the support of the Socialist Party to the signature collection campaign promoted by the citizens in defense of the wealth of Mula y Pliego, and to demand that the regional government not deprive the "La Princesa" zone, which is like This discovery is known, and remain in the Museum of the City of Mula, a few kilometers from La Almoloya, where the rest of the collection will be exhibited.

"We ask the Executive of López Miras that scientific criteria prevail and abandon sectarianism, centralism and the attitude of imposition to which we are accustomed and leave that trousseau where it belongs".
