The NGO Project Abraham closes the employability project "Walk between fabrics" in Mula (09/05/2019)

THE ACT OF DELIVERY OF DIPLOMAS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE TRAINING, WILL HAVE PLACE THIS FRIDAY, MAY 10TH AT 10.30 HOURS IN THE PLENOS HALL OF THE MUYÑO CITY COUNCIL

It is expected that the president of the Commonwealth of Social Services Río Mula and mayor of the town, Juan Jesús Moreno García, who together with the president of Proyecto Abraham, Toñi Villarino, will present the diplomas accompanied by the technical personnel involved in the development. of the project.

Camina Entre Telas is an itinerary of socio-labor insertion, in which the 15 women who have participated, have received Pre-Labor Training and Labor Orientation, in Sewing and Repair of Garments and Customer Service and some of them have also done non-labor practices in companies collaborating in the area, such as Faura's Atelier and Los Reyes Pequeños.

The training that now ends, began in the month of February and has been taught in the morning hours in sessions from 9.30 to 13.30.

The activity has been free of charge thanks to funding from the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, with funds from the regional section of the "X Solidarity" of the income statement, which have also collaborated the City of Mula and the Rio Mula Commonwealth, as well as the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Businesses and the Environment.

The training has been specially directed to long-term unemployed people, low or medium employability, low qualification and basic studies, derived from the resources of Social Services and employment existing in the area.

Project Abraham is an NGO of social and environmental action, which focuses its main activity on the collection of clothing, footwear and toys through containers located on public roads.

The association maintains a collaboration agreement with the City Council of Mula, through which it carries out the collection of used clothing and footwear in the municipality, annually removing more than 50,000 kilos of this waste that the muleña population deposits in its containers.
