The Civil Guard dismantles an indoor plantation of marijuana in Pliego (19/06/2017)

More than fifty cannabis plants have been seized and all the devices used for their cultivation

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking, has located and dismantled in Pliego a plantation of indoor type marijuana and has arrested the person who was allegedly behind the crop As an alleged perpetrator of an offense against public health.

The action began when troops from the Benemérita, while providing service of prevention of public safety in the place of Cañada de las Anguilas in the municipality of Pliego, detected a strong smell that generated suspicion of the existence of a plantation of marijuana.

The Civil Guard, in collaboration with Local Police of Pliego, made a series of efforts to locate the source of the suspicious odor that gave its fruit shortly after and allowed to locate the possible planting in a house under construction, in which No one resided.

The agents identified and located the owner of the suspect and, in the presence of the owner, made a search inside a clandestine greenhouse with more than fifty cannabis sativa plants and sophisticated lighting, heating, ventilation and irrigation.

The civil guards seized the marijuana plants and the objects used to grow them.

At that time they also arrested the owner of the house as alleged perpetrator of public health crime.

The arrested Spanish, 39 years and resident of Murcia, the drug seized, the objects seized and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Mula (Murcia).
