The first step is to develop an inventory of CO2 emissions in the whole municipality
Mula City Council is committed, along with several municipalities in the region, reduce CO2 emissions, after the Jan. 21 to join the Covenant of Mayors which aims to reduce these emissions by at least 20% by 2020 .
Thus, the session Mülenen assumes a series of commitments to achieve this reduction, the first one to develop an inventory of CO2 emissions in the whole municipality and a Plan of Action for Sustainable Energy (PAES) to be completed by the year after for membership of the municipality to the Covenant of Mayors.
The ultimate goal, from the date of approval of PAES is to reduce emissions by 20% with the implementation of the corrective measures set forth in the Plan.
