Education offer a specialized course Cooking aimed at young people between 16 and 21 years (02/11/2011)

The classes will have a theoretical and training in basic education and a practical part about cooking

Mule 02.11.11 City Council will provide a training workshop for young people between 16 and 21 years in the specialty of kitchen helper.

This workshop, part of the Initial Professional Qualification Program (PCPI) is for young people who were unable to complete their studies of compulsory education, are unemployed and wish to train as professional cooking.

The workshop, which will last for one school year will be held in the premises of the Youth Center, and will consist of lectures and practices.

May participate in the fifteen students and also a Level 1 vocational qualification work experience in catering establishments in the municipality.

The deadline to register for the course ends on November 9.

Those interested should contact the Department of Education of the City of Mula and fill in the application of the course providing a photocopy of ID card and a Curriculum Vitae.

Began teaching classes in mid-November.

"The goal is to continue PCPI education to youth who have dropped out while they are trained in labor, in this case, the hospitality industry in order to gain access to a job" explained the Councillor for Education, April Wonders, who also stresses the importance of being able to train young Mula to expand their employment goals.

It has launched further public offering of teachers who teach the course.

The selection will consist of a general education teacher and a specialist teacher training in the specific branch of restoration or kitchen or catering professional with proven experience through working life.

Entries can be made until Friday November 4.

In this sense, the City of Mula is working on implementing a Classroom Occupational Education Compensation as an educational resource to alleviate Truancy through an agreement with the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.

The goal of Occupational Classroom as a measure of compensatory education is to ensure the provision of education and promote educational integration of students at risk of dropping out.

This measure is intended for young people between 14 and 16 years.

Students who join this classroom educational compensation, to be conducted in one of the municipal and have a teacher assigned by the Ministry of Education, will follow the theoretical basis of the ESO and will, moreover, with a workshop painting, since the objective is to obtain adequate levels of socialization while ensuring basic knowledge and skills to enable future learning a trade.
