The director of the Institute for Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, and the mayor of Mula, José Iborra, today attended the launch of the station hostel in Light Mule.
With this there are seven shelters operating in the network of the Northwest Greenway.
Mula center has two floors, the first of which houses a nature classroom and the second floor is dedicated as such hostel.

Thus the former Caravaca station has 24 beds, Cehegín 48, Bullas 44, Mule 28, Albudeite 10 River Fields Alguazas 16 and 60 seats.
The Northwest Greenway, part of an old railway line between Murcia and Caravaca de la Cruz in disuse since 1971, a member since 1999 of one of the principal axes of the western Mediterranean Green Network in the Region of Murcia.
The track has a mixed type of firm along its 78 miles, with sections that combine asphalt and compacted gravel.
It is a road that can use pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and people with reduced mobility, and has 13 rest areas, 10 viaducts and 6 tunnels.
This route, which passes through nine municipalities, provides, in addition to the variety of its landscapes, an important part of the natural and cultural heritage of the Region of Murcia, has three natural areas included in the Natura 2000 network, a large number of places, in the vicinity or in the path itself, with the cataloging of Cultural Interest (BIC) and the distinction as historical sets of high cultural value of the historic centers of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín and Mula.
In addition, the city of Caravaca de la Cruz is a focus of Christian religious tourism, which has been greatly strengthened following its recognition as 'holy place' by the Vatican, which gave the award to celebrate a Jubilee Year in perpetuity every seven years.
