The Director of Tourism notes that the new hostel Mule "will open in a few months" (23/11/2009)

The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, together with the mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, and the manager of the Tourist Consortium of the Northwest Greenway, Juan Soria, today visited the construction of the new hostel in the Season of Light and a halt in the Niño de Mula.

Both actions are included in the Greenway project and the Network of Shelters, in which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism invests four million euros between 2008 and 2009.

Marina Garcia stressed that the infrastructure "invigorate the extraordinary natural environment of the area, and in a few months we will open a new shelter and a new leisure space."

Hostel may use "visitors who come to visit the Greenway, which will become a pilgrimage route, and all the inhabitants of the town of Mula, who have here a place of extraordinary entertainment."

The Inn of the Light Station is, according to the director general, "one of the most privileged places of travel" and, therefore, much of the proceedings will be undertaken in this area.

This serves two reasons, "that access to the site involves a use of the Greenway and, secondly, to the attractions of the place themselves," Garcia said.

The ground floor will have a point to inform users of the Greenway and its attractions, among others.

Also have a canteen, toilets and services in a shelter overnight.

Also included is the installation of treatment plants, urban development and infrastructure works for the operation of all facilities.

As to the first floor with an area of 63 square meters, will have rest areas or leisure.

Halt of El Niño

The halt of El Niño is an open house with an approximate area of 50 square meters.

Thus, it is planned to establish a place of refreshment and relaxation with the possibility of creating an information point with reduced hours or even weekends.

Among the uses to which it will include a control to regulate the way and access under the rules of the Way itself, as well as parking and vending machines, with the aim of meeting the basic needs of travelers.
