Consistent Inconsistencies until 19 February at the Exhibition Hall of the Old Asylum (10/02/2010)

The Exhibition Hall hosts the Old Hospital, until 19 February, an interesting sample of works by six artists under the title "Consistent Inconsistencies' wanted to move the different sensibility and way of seeing the world each achieving a multicultural meeting curious and artistic.

The idea of holding a joint exhibition between the six friends came during one of their periodic meetings in the cafeteria of Holy Angel Willous where leverage to talk about culture, art and any subject that they go through the head.

The idea was supported from the outset by the Department of Culture of the City and the outcome of this collaboration is that the viewer can see in the Old Asylum.

The variety of styles, colors and interpretations is a constant and visible on each piece, as varied as age, sex and lifestyle of each of the artists.

Raquel Cortez is an art student that is currently defining their style.

The works that find it are great photo collages.

Juan Antonio Cortés Abellán is perhaps the oldest of the group.

His recent paintings focus on a common denominator, grenades, as part of his work as a sign of life cycle of the various stages of being human.

Abellán Cortés has also introduced some detail of the town of Mula in his paintings shown here.

For his part José Manuel Saiz Espin is a young man who started doing graffiti and has done the world of comics.

In its current phase has focused on the expressiveness of the eyes through the figure of the eye with images that convey a lot of strength.

This group is part of the multifaceted Merino Rufete Bartholomew who, with his work against the oil also makes sculptures and plays drums.

In its current phase in oil paint and then photographs his paintings to give different treatment with editing software, an outcome that leaves nobody indifferent.

The most classic of all artists is Juan Sanchez Garcia, in an Impressionist style, is a street artist you are looking for anywhere to set up your stand and realize what this moment offers.

Sergio Martinez Pinar submitted pictures with great color and expression as part of their world.

The result of the show liked the artists that are Consistent Inconsistencies, like the criticism received and that the main challenge was to unite so many different styles in a room of small dimensions.
