Awarded the development works of the new Courts building Mula (06/05/2010)

The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, today announced that the Ministry of Justice has won 281,156.55 euros in additional works of urbanization of the new Courts building Mula to the consortium comprising Villegas Construcciones SL, Fulton SA Electrical Installations and Technology SA.

Tovar Gonzalez recalled that in late December 2007 the then Justice Minister Mariano Fernandez Bermejo, presented the project of building the new Palace of Justice in Mula and laid the foundation stone of the same, whose works were awarded in the 4,316,736 million euros.

The building stands on a plot of 1,854 meters square, given by the City and located in an area of expansion of the city.

The new courthouse in Mula, whose entry into operation will take place this year, has been constructed according to the project by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, through the Directorate General of Works and Heritage and has 4 floors (1 of them below ground) with a floor area of 3,615 meters square.

The project envisages the creation of 2 courts of First Instance and Instruction, plus 2 reserve, Registry Civil Duty Court; Clinical Forensic Medical, Office, 2 rooms Vista and all the necessary common services.

The new headquarters with the objective of the court buildings comply with regulations on accessibility and the removal of architectural barriers.

It also sets out the following activities: installation of a lift, toilets and changing circulation.
