The Councilor for Urban Planning, Public Works and Agriculture, Paco Llamazares, has visited with the municipal technicians the works of conditioning and paving of rural roads corresponding to the Rural Development Program 2014-2020
The roads object of action are the Alquibla of 3,800 meters in length and an investment of 201,915 euros and Las Peñuelas with a length of 6,000 meters and an investment of 160,485 euros.
The investment is being executed by the Ministry of Agriculture under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The Muleño Consistory expects, shortly, the approval of the Autonomous Community for the arrangement of two other roads corresponding to the 2017 call. And, at the beginning of the year, the City Council plans to invest about 50,000 euros of the municipal budget in the arrangement of some of the most degraded sections of different roads of the municipality.
Paco Llamazares, first deputy mayor of the City Council, said that “we are aware of the need for settlement that have several rural roads.
The municipality of Mula is very large, there are about 1000 kilometers of roads and the economic resources we have are scarce.
We will try to fix them progressively.
Every year some are arranged according to budget availability, taking care of those who are in worse conditions first. â€
