The Department of Celebrations is pleased to present the 2020 Carnival poster, colorful and cheerful.
Mula is committed to making its carnival great in line with the quality of its troupes and the generosity of its shops.
This year with a new tour, foreign group contest and prize for the best group and individual costume.
This is the schedule and news for this year:
The events will begin on February 8 with the Carnival Cry at the Lope de Vega theater, being this time the Pregonero the Muleño Journalist, Paco Sánchez.
In the same act that is organized on this occasion by Comparsa Kissamba and the Amay Dance Group, Don Carnal and the Mascarón will be appointed.
This year there are several novelties that the parade brings us with the participation of foreign groups, highlighting the competition for visiting groups, with five prizes: the first one with â‚¬ 600, second with â‚¬ 400, third with â‚¬ 200 and two fourth prizes â‚¬ 100 each, with the prizes donated by businesses in the area.
There will also be prizes for costumes that in particular participate in the parade with a prize of â‚¬ 200 for groups and a prize of â‚¬ 100 for the best individual costume.
Another novelty for this year, is the change of route since this time it has been decided that the parade will take place in a more affordable area to accommodate all the parades that are going to parade.
Chairs can also be rented along the route and there will be an area for people with reduced mobility located in Santa Teresa de Jornet.
In total, 16 dance groups and groups, 8 venues and 8 foreigners will participate.
The tour will begin in Gran Vía at the height of the Cristóbal Gabarrón Park, passing through Santa Teresa de Jornet, Fray Pedro Botia, Juan Viñegla Avenue, Esplanade Street to finish in the Cristóbal Gabarrón Park.
Later on the Green Track a musical party will be held with the awards ceremony.
