A firm commitment to the animation and promotion of reading] | The Department of Culture, through the Municipal Library, has proposed the creation of a Reading Club |

A Reading Club is a group of people who read a book at the same time.

They read it at home, but then meet periodically to comment on what has been read, move forward in reading, talk about it, among other derived activities.

This seeks to promote reading individually, as well as share the experiences that the reading itself suggests in a group.

In general, the opinions of the members of the group greatly enrich the initial impression that each one makes reading alone.

In addition, group reading helps in the advancement of certain readings that, being more demanding than normal, many readers would not do and, instead, are read much more easily if it is shared.

It is intended for adults and once it has been formed, the club itself will decide what days and at what time to meet.

The Councilor for Culture, Diego J. Boluda, expresses his firm commitment to the creation of this club with the claim that this cultural space is open to all citizens, both of Mula and its districts, so that active participation will be accepted of the same, for what encourages those who attract, feel like it or experience, consider volunteering in group coordination tasks, organization of activities, suggestions, among others, together with the Department.

Interested persons can register at the Municipal Library from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

and 17'00 to 20'00 h.

from Monday to Friday.
