Mula City Council information note on coronavirus COVID-19 (18/03/2020)

The City Council of Mula informs all citizens that the Municipal Cleaning Services continue to influence the development of disinfection work in crowded areas, common areas and with the greatest influx of our Municipality, through cleaning with the application of disinfectant treatments in streets, for a correct adaptation and improvement of the situation of these spaces, as a preventive sanitary measure and in the face of the alert situation due to the COVID-19 virus.

In fact, from the Department of Works and Services of the City of Mula, it is reported that, in the morning of today, these works have been carried out in numerous streets: Emeterio Cuadrado, Avenida Mártires, Barrio San Francisco, Barrio Viñegla, Calle Boticas, Plaza of the City Council and in Pedanías, in addition to all the areas that were covered yesterday.

Thus, the Mula City Council has restructured the Cleaning Services with the aim of adapting the area and the systems it uses, to the measures that seek to prevent the spread and spread of the virus and consequently continue to ensure health. and safety of all the residents of Mula.

It is also important to know that the sodium hypochlorite disinfectant (NaOCI) has been incorporated into the tasks that are usually carried out in the Municipality, since this compound has a viricidal effect.

From the City Council of Mula, also, it is wanted to remember that the controls, mobile and fixed, by the Local Police and Civil Guard, continue on roads and public spaces, to ensure that citizens comply with the mobility limitations imposed by the Government of the Nation.

These controls will be intensified in those places and time zones that may be specifically affected by the restrictions.

The security forces want to appeal to responsibility, because although the feast of San José is approaching, the containment measures imposed to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus are known to all.

Finally, and with the certainty that we will win this battle, through responsibility and the union of the whole of the citizenry, we must remember that it is vitally important to practice daily preventive measures recommended by the health authorities: avoid close contact with people, wash your hands frequently, avoid all kinds of movements, etc.
