Mule against Gender Violence ”]

The Hon.

Mula City Council communicates that the campaign “Confinement is no excuse.

Mule against Gender Violence ”, with the collaboration of the Merchants Association, Acohomul.

This campaign is aimed at women victims of Gender Violence who these days are aggravated by their personal situation by living with their aggressor for a long time due to the confinement decreed before the state of alarm.

This situation represents a greater problem for these women when it comes to requesting help in an adverse situation vis-à-vis their aggressor, a task that is very limited by the continuous coexistence in the same home as the victim and aggressor.

Now more than ever, the collaboration and involvement of the citizens is vital so that when faced with any suspicion of gender violence, they immediately raise the alarm to the Security Forces or 112.

With this campaign, the shops that are open to the public these days will serve as a link between the emergency services and any victim of gender violence.

Victims will be able to count on the complicity, discretion and help of the trade if they need it.

For this, a poster will be displayed in a visible place with all the information for the victim.

It is a transversal campaign, in which Citizen Security, Women and equality and Commerce work together.

The councilors involved, Pilar Gil, Alicia Zapata and Diego Boluda, have shown the absolute commitment of their councilors in these difficult moments in which, now more than ever, fighting against gender violence is everyone's task.
