The Mayor-President of the Hon.

Mula City Council, Juan Jesús Moreno García, has participated, today and as usual every Friday, in the meeting, by videoconference, with the President of the Autonomous Community, Vice President, and the rest of the Mayors and Mayors of the Municipalities of the Region of Murcia.At this meeting, the first local mayor has once again insisted that the fees that the City Council has to face, corresponding to the Entity of Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment (ESAMUR) and Solid Waste Management, be abolished, since The City Council has carried out a first package of fiscal and economic averages for exemption from paying these fees, corresponding to self-employed workers and companies that have closed their businesses due to the Covid-19 crisis.In addition, Moreno has informed in said meeting, that in the coming days, and through the municipal coffers, the corresponding aid to the Dining Grants will begin to be paid, since the Regional Government has not yet proceeded to transfer the themselves, and given the current situation, and being a matter of vital importance for that most vulnerable sector of the population, that of our minors, this decision has been taken from the municipal council.Finally, the municipal councilor has insisted again and see what is the willingness of the Regional Government to include a greater budgetary allocation in the Works and Services Plan, since this would suppose the Town Councils to be able to make a greater investment and consequently reactivate important sectors of the local and regional economy.Juan Jesús Moreno wanted to thank the President of the Community, Fernando López Miras, for the existence of a direct and weekly communication with all the mayors of the 45 municipalities of the Region, since with union and loyalty between all the institutions, and attending to the different municipal demands, we will soon emerge from this situation caused by an unprecedented pandemic in the world.#EsteVirusLoParamosUnidos
