| The Councilor for Education, Diego Boluda, announces that this year Mula will host the EBAU exams | The Organizing Commission of the University Entrance Exams (COEBAU), is finalizing those details that will make up the space that will house the students during said exams.
In order to meet the necessary requirements (a minimum distance of 2 meters between students in all directions), the ideal place for conducting the tests is being studied, which obviously cannot be an ordinary classroom.
Diego Boluda communicates that the “Javi García” pavilion will most likely be the space to be used, given that according to the organizing commission it meets the most appropriate conditions. For this reason, it has been established as a priority that all students can have adequate refrigeration in those locations where on these dates it is foreseeable that temperatures of more than 27ºC can be reached inside the classroom.
Refrigeration facilities that fill this deficiency will be temporarily placed, for which the necessary steps are being taken. The Councilor for Education has made himself available to the University of Murcia, transferring all the support and collaboration of the City Council of Mula.
Getting Mula to host the EBAU2020 is great news for our city and our region, fundamentally for our students, who, in times of great uncertainty, will find the tests more accessible, close and safe.
The Mula City Council will work to ensure that this is the case.Among some of the novelties that the University of Murcia has announced, the mandatory use of masks is established, it is recommended that students bring their own hydrogel dispenser and use it before and after each exam.
The objective is to avoid the concentration of students around the dispensers that the buildings have and that are touched by many people in a very short period of time, the tables used in the tests, which will be marked with an adhesive, will be cleaned with disinfectant at the end of each examination, all of which being complemented by the general tasks of disinfecting the facilities, as established by current regulations in relation to the COVID crisis19.More specific details regarding how the EBAU2020 will be organized will be given later.
