A representation of the Tourist Association of Sierra Espuña, made up of its president and mayor of Aledo, Francisco Javier Andreo, the mayor of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, and the technician in charge of the Mancomunidad, Francisco Sánchez, met during the conference.
Thursday with the Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, José Vélez, where, among other issues, the Sierra Espuña Tourism Sustainability Plan was discussed.This plan is designed with the aim of promoting the Sierra Espuña Territory as a quality and sustainable tourist destination from a social, economic and environmental point of view.
In addition, it continues the line of work already begun with the accreditation of the Sustainable Tourism Charter and its 2017-2021 Action Plan on which it will be based on the new plan.Vélez has been very interested in the project and has confirmed that this week he will contact the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, to discuss the proposed issues.
