The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment of the Region of Murcia, extends from September 30, 2020 to February 28, 2021, both included, the prohibition of agricultural burning.The City Council has powers in the management of waste that is exclusively of domestic origin; but it has no powers over the management of the remains of agricultural pruning, so it cannot give authorizations in this regard.
The competent administration in the regulation and management of the remains of agricultural pruning is the Autonomous Community.The burning of agricultural plant residues is a practice not allowed - in general - by Law 22/2011, of July 28, on contaminated waste and soils, it is only excepted in the case of treatment against pests whose existence must be determined by the Department of Plant Health of the Ministry of Agriculture
