The Lope de Vega theater will have lighting and sound equipment that will facilitate the programming of cultural events.
In addition, the stage will be equipped with a stage box that will improve aesthetics and comfort in holding events.
Installation work has already started and will be completed later this month. The investment will mean savings for the municipal coffers, since each year the City Council of Mula has high expenses for the rental of lighting and sound equipment for Theater Week, events and galas. The Councilor for Culture, Diego Boluda, has stated that “we managed to improve the quality of our theater, since providing the 'Lope de Vega' with spotlights and sound is a historical demand that has been requested by the cultural sector in recent decades , as well as fans and spectators.
In addition, this management will bring multiple economic benefits for the municipality, and that is, having a proper lighting and sound installation will lower the cost of hiring cultural shows.
This investment will be covered by the budget that had been planned for the 2020 Theater Week and which had to be canceled.
There is no better defense and commitment to culture than to reinvest in it.
"It should be noted that every time a play, show or gala had to be hired, the cost of renting complete sound and lighting equipment had to be added.
This fact made it more expensive to hire shows and therefore it was more complex to offer a solid theatrical and show programming.
