In order to verify compliance with the sanitary measures established to combat the spread of Covid-19, the agents identified a driver who showed a nervous and elusive attitude. The civil guards detected that the interior of the vehicle emanated a strong characteristic smell of marijuana, so they searched the cabin and found a bulky bag full of green plant substance.
After weighing it, it turned out to be 825 grams of marijuana. In that act, the 29-year-old male driver from Los Alcázares was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health for drug trafficking. The detainee, the drugs and the proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Mula (Murcia).
