| The short film festival awards were given | The Lope de Vega Theater hosted this Saturday night the closing of the 32nd Spanish Film Week of Mula, organized by the City Council of Mula and the Cine-Club Segundo de Chom n. Under strict security measures and limited capacity, during the gala, broadcast for the first time live through local television channels and the University of Murcia, the awards for the 27th National Short Film Competition were awarded. About a hundred people attended the gala, including the mayor of Mula, Juan Jes s Moreno, the Councilor for Culture, Diego Boluda, the Councilor for Equality, Pilar Gil, and the Councilor for Social Policy, Antonia Gabarr n.
The regional deputy, Fernando Moreno, as well as members of the corporation and representatives of the Muleño culture, also wanted to support the Cine-Club. An event of great cultural relevance at the local level and that has placed Mula on the map of national culture, according to the Councilor for Culture of Muleño. The artist Ver nica Forqu has been recognized in this festival that, in addition, was supported by many of the artists who have passed through Mula over the last few editions and who, from a distance, sent virtual messages of I support this festival. The mayor of Mula, Juan Jes s Moreno, greatly appreciated the great work that the Cine-Club Segundo de Chom n has been doing year after year to carry out this festival and continued to provide them with the necessary support so that this stay alive for many more years. The fact that in the last few months more than 200 short films have arrived in Mula from all over the national geography has been one of the factors that have led the event organizers to bet on maintaining the event during this year as atypical. The jury, made up of the actress Mar a Luisa San Jos , the Muleño photographer Andr s Garc a Mellado, and Jos De Paco, coordinator of Audiovisuals and New Technologies of the Regional Library, Pascual Vera, film critic, Ana Mª Mart n, Head of the Communication Section at the University of Murcia, and a representative of the film club as secretary.
