[Mule participates in the Technical Commission of the Sierra Espuña Commonwealth (23/01/2021)

| The member municipalities agree to establish the priority of actions of the Sierra Espuña Territory Tourism Sustainability Plan to initiate tenders | Councilors and tourism technicians of the Commonwealth of Sierra Espuña have held a telematic meeting this Friday on the Technical Commission of the Commonwealth of Sierra Espuña to discuss various aspects related to the Sierra Espuña Territory Tourism Sustainability Plan selected by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. The Councilor for Tourism of the City Council of Mula, Alejandra Martínez, participated in the meeting with the Tourism technician, Ana López, where each of the municipalities that make up the Mancomunidad have agreed to establish the priorities of each of the projects presented and for which Mula has eight proposals for the optimization of resources and the beautification of the Historic Complex that would amount to 470,000 euros of the total of 2,750,000 euros that the Commonwealth will receive. For the Mula Sustainability Plan, it establishes the adaptation of the Municipal Hostel, reform of the Tourist Office, creation of a motorhome area in the hamlet of Casas Nuevas, musealization and improvement of the accessibility of the Los Villaricos site, conditioning, accesses, fencing perimeter and door of the Abrigo del Milano, beautification and homogenization of the urban furniture of the Historic Complex, intelligent tourist signage for the Historic Center of Mula and action of the Archaeological Park of the Mula Senda del Albacar castle. In the coming days, the priorities for action of each of the municipalities adhered to the Commonwealth will be established to initiate the bidding process for said projects. Alejandra Martínez highlighted that this Plan includes actions of great value for the municipality of Mula and that they will contribute enormously to the tourist commitment that the City Council has been working on in recent months to make Mula a safe, accessible municipality with great attraction for the visitor.
