Closing gerontogimnasia workshops, yoga, painting, bobbin Senior Center (17/06/2010)

The mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, Senior Councillor, Pilar Paniagua, today closed the Senior Center activities have been developed since last October to current June between those found gerontogimnasia, yoga and relaxation, painting, crafts, workshop and workshop carnival rolls of those who have benefited a total of 210 over Mula and 20 and the hamlets of Yéchar Librilla Source.

In addition we have also developed other workshops with a more playful as in the course of painting and crafts, which took place from November to May, and has received 26 entries.

The work that has been developed in this workshop will be exhibited in the Center's facilities for everyone who wants to visit.

Along these same lines is the workshop rolls, an activity that promotes the game, talk and camaraderie among participants.

In this workshop we have registered 12 people.

The Senior Center organizes activities that are related to the involvement of older people with different cultural festivals and events held in the municipality, such as the Carnival.

For this festival, 22 more participated in the workshop of Carnival whose work came after the street in the parade.

In addition, during the event was presented a plaque to Edward Lee Lucas, secretary of the Association of Older People, in recognition of the work being done with adults at the Center for Aging Mula.
