12/29/1910 San Blas BF team of Alicante yesterday managed first place in the Junior II Women's Basketball Tournament Ciudad de Mula who has played in the town 27 and 28 with the participation of teams Capuchin CB Murcia (2 ° rated), NBF Castelló (3rd place) and UCA Albacete (the fourth).
San Blas de Alicante and Murcia Capuchin repeated for the second consecutive year the first and second place respectively in the tournament.
The mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, accompanied by Councillor of the Presidency, Salvador J.
Garrido, Juan organizational members and Josema Victor Castro, as well as professional basketball players Murcia Laura Fernandez (Carmelites Ourense) and Angela Garcia (Capuchin) were responsible for making the award of medals and trophies to participants.
The MVP award, the best player in the tournament, fell to Clara Gonzalez of San Blas de Alicante BF.
This tournament, organized by the City of Mula in collaboration with the Capuchin CB Murcia aims to promote grassroots sport, especially netball.
The championship, which was held at City Hall has consisted of a league against each other in the single lap format.
Besides having been housed in the municipal shelter, the players have been enjoying the leisure facilities of these units and visited Mula.
