The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, opened today with the mayor of Mula, Diego Cervantes, the natural path Path of Time, for which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism allocated 24,956 euros.
The work performed consisted of the refurbishment of roads, installation of appropriate signage and signaling and enabling reception areas and two balconies with the necessary equipment.
The Trail of Time, 7.5 kilometers long, runs through the urban and peri-urban town, linking several areas of natural, cultural and scenic.
This is a circular route that can be traversed in both directions and has its start and finish in the Northwest Greenway.
Along the trail you can see historical and archaeological sites as the Roman village of Los Villares, the Iberian settlement of El Cigarralejo, Stone Plumber, the Roman road from Yéchar or the medieval walls of Mula.
It is also possible to enjoy the monuments and historic buildings in the city as the church of Santo Domingo, the chapel of Carmen, City Hall, Clock Tower, the church of San Miguel and Menahermosa Palace, current seat of the Iberian Art Museum El Cigarralejo.
