XXIII Spanish film week Mula (17/04/2011)

Concludes XXIII Spanish Film Week Mula and the XVIII National Short Film Competition with a grand gala at the Teatro Lope de Vega will musical performances, tributes, awards and awards of the short film competition.

The event will be led by comedian Juan Luis Hurtado (Roper).

Film Week Mula has received a multitude of activities from which would start the festival as are the various film screenings of the current scene, the morning children, retrospectives at Mercedes Sampietro and Luis García Berlanga.

Regarding the short film competition, there have been 86 to contest those who have been selected eleven.

The short format is 35 mm, a Spanish national, maximum of 30 minutes and produced in 2010 or 2011.

The awards consist of a Jury Prize of 4,000 euros and a trophy; Mansermula Special Jury Award, with 2,000 euros and a trophy; Epona Award (for best short film and animation productions offered by Antares) with 2,000 euros and a trophy, with 1,000 Youth Award EUR Award for best short documentary, best actor, best actress, best screenplay, director and photography, all with a trophy for the winners.

The short film competition jury is chaired by actress Merçe Llorens and will include the collaboration of film critics, actors and people involved in the film world and culture.

Epona Award for Best Short Animation Productions issued by Antares (2,000 euros and a trophy) for "Vicenta" Sam.

Youth Prize (1,000 euros and a trophy) for "Vicenta" Sam.

Best documentary for "A God that does not cover" of Gaizka Urresti

Best Actor: Rafa Reaño of "I am love."

In addition, special mention to Jane Doe for "Easy Money."

Best Actress: Selica Torcal of "lemon juice"

Best Director: Carlos Montero Castiñeira for "Easy Money"

Best Director: Arantxa Echevarria for "Panchito"

Best Cinematography: "Hidden Soldier" by Alejandro Suarez Lozano
