Let us not forget in the Ribera de los Molinos and the Mirador del Niño (27/09/2011)

Last February, a score of young native trees were planted on Mount urbanization public Niño de Mula, previously school students held a workshop Mula path and arranged a space by placing a table and benches and handrails in two tranches.

This work was the beginning of a beautification project that would degraded land in the future, park with gazebo in a district visited by residents of the Shire River Mula and tourists, given that there is the Balate Child Sanctuary.

With this project agreed from the outset, all political groups of the corporation Mülenen, which they consider a viable, interesting for the image of the district and municipality, as well as low cost as well as being an initiative sponsored by the neighbors at all times expressed interest in carrying it out, even with their own work and voluntarism.

On the other hand, were presented last year, 222 signatures of residents of the town of Mula, claiming recovery for the Greenway "Northwest-Río Mula" in the section between the old box of step level "Zurbano" and the box step level of "Cuesta Zapata," the latter in the parish of the Child.

About four miles stretch of the old railway line that runs through the site of the "Ribera de los Molinos", one of the most beautiful of gardens, all the Greenway, which has rural hospices.

These signatures were submitted to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, the Delegation of the government in the Region of Murcia, the Consortium for maintenance and management of the Greenway, and each of the municipalities that make up the consortium of the Greenway, as well as all political groups represented in the municipal corporations of Campos del Río, Albudeite, Mula, Pliego, Bullas, Cehegin and Caravaca.

Various municipalities, political groups and various groups from the regions of Mula River and Northwest showed their full support to this initiative, and even the Minister of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, on March 23 after the opening of the station shelter Apeadero Light and the Child expressed its full support to the idea of the recovery section of the Bank of Los Molinos and the kindness that has the initiative.

Keep in mind that over 90% of the land in this section is public, belonging to ADIF railway infrastructure manager, being at this time without rolling stock by allowing greater ease in adapting the work area.

It was also requested to include the nomination "Mula River" in the name of the greenway.

All you consider the economic situation we are facing, why the municipal government can not make any investments, unless it receives grants for projects of 100%, as in the municipality of Mula.

But in difficult times is when you have to use your imagination and willingness of society.

Major projects have been carried out by voluntary contributions from citizens.

These could be one of them.

We would get the realization of two projects that would serve as enjoyment for the whole population, tourism enhancement, improved landscaping, new sports facility, and considerable improvement of the natural environment and a more direct involvement of society in its implementation.

Consider the voluntariness of the neighbors and introduce these projects within agricultural employment plans this fall, for unemployed farm workers, who are given employment for three months this fall, to carry out work on these two projects .

Do not let the crisis be forgotten that these two projects were born with the possibility of illusion and they bring much positive to the town of Mula and hence the regions of Mula and Northwest River.
