The CEOs of the Institute of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, and Commerce and Handicrafts, Maria Dolores Alarcon, presented today with the mayor of Mula, José Iborra, the second edition of Baroque Market held in the town from Saturday until next Tuesday, the day of San Jose, and has more than 65 activities.
This initiative, which this year spends three to four days, looking to value and promote the historic-artistic Mula and attract visitors to help energize the tourism, commercial and economic area.
For this, the village will feature parades, juggling, children's activities, guided tours of the eighteenth-century heritage of the town and a costume contest period.
It also has the support of the museums of Mula, who organize activities for these days and extend their hours to allow visitors to appreciate its collections with more time and comfort.
Furthermore, since the file has been prepared Mula audiovisual and a talk about the seventeenth century in this town.
Another major attraction is the participation of hundreds of artisans from the region and other provinces as Granada, Salamanca, Barcelona and Valencia.
Items can be found ranging from esparto crafts, pottery, soaps, woodwork and rugs, among others, to a wide range of foods such as bread, nougat, cheese, sausage or honey.
These artisans are one of the main attractions and responsible for giving life to the town center, moving the visitor to the Baroque era and counting as stage with the historic-artistic Mulenen.
This initiative, which has the support of the autonomous region, is organized by the City of Mula and the Association of Artisans 'The 4 Squares', along with the collaboration of restaurants, artisans, museums and other associations and the municipality.
