The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities organized a series of guided archaeological collection of the Museum exvotos Cigarralejo Mula, an exhibition that opened on September 18 and will remain at the museum until next December 31 views .
The first of these tours, which are part of the Christmas program of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities takes place on Friday 26 December, and activity will be repeated on Tuesday, the 30th.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Maria Comas, said the collection is composed of pieces found in the Iberian shrine of El Cigarralejo.
"This is an opportunity to see the remains of a high value as part of the rich heritage of the region and have already visited thousands of people since the show last September opened," said Maria Comas.
The exhibition, called 'ritual spaces: the offerings at the shrine Iberian Cigarralejo', consists of a series of votive offerings found in this site that have great artistic, scientific and archaeological value by the amount of information transmitted on beliefs and rituals of Iberian society.
The tours will take place on designated days from 12:00 hours, although the exhibition is free of charge until Wednesday December 31 in the regular museum hours, Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 14: 00 hours and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 14:00 hours.
