The Department of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, access and order will improve road safety Mule Crossing the construction of a new roundabout at the entrance of the town.
The regional government will invest 773,269 euros in this project, in the process of expropriation, which has a deadline of four months and today presented the Director General of Highways, Jose Guijarro, with the mayor of the municipality, Diego Cervantes.
The roundabout will be located at the intersection of the road between La Puebla de Mula and El Niño de Mula (RM-516) and T-415 cruise, especially in the area known as La Palma and Trascastillo Alto.
The aim is to improve safety in the area to replace the existing intersection by a central island with a sidewalk two feet wide, that will minimize the risk of accidents.
Shingle noted that "the new roundabout requires modification of the additions to it from the roads to the intersection, in order to get it done with high levels of road safety for the average speed on this stretch of road."
He said that the roundabout will be accessed through yield signs placed at the entry ramp.
In this regard, he stressed that access to it is held by two lanes from four meters each, from the RM-516 road, rail and five yards from the crossing T-415, both with one and berms 0.5 meters wide on the outside and inside respectively of the roundabout.
