Public Works Mula regulate access to the construction of a new roundabout (03/11/2009)

The Department of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, access and order will improve road safety Mule Crossing the construction of a new roundabout at the entrance of the town.

The aim is to improve safety in the area to replace the existing intersection by a central island with a sidewalk two feet wide, that will minimize the risk of accidents.

Shingle noted that "the new roundabout requires modification of the additions to it from the roads to the intersection, in order to get it done with high levels of road safety for the average speed on this stretch of road."

He said that the roundabout will be accessed through yield signs placed at the entry ramp.

In this regard, he stressed that access to it is held by two lanes from four meters each, from the RM-516 road, rail and five yards from the crossing T-415, both with one and berms 0.5 meters wide on the outside and inside respectively of the roundabout.
